Desire
Your scent overwhelms me—
a fragrance that lingers in the lungs,
sweet and dangerous,
like the first breath after drowning.
The whisper of your lips,
soft as wind on embers,
fans a fire I can no longer contain.
I ache to explore you—
to trace the rise and fall of your landscapes,
to lose myself in the shadows of your valleys,
to dive, unguarded,
into the boundless blue of your depths.
The heat that radiates from you
burns through me,
but I do not pull away;
I welcome the scorch,
for it feels like life itself.
Everything about you is a marvel—
more exquisite than honey
stolen from the heart of a hive,
a taste that no tongue could forget.
In you, my hunger meets its answer,
my thirst finds its peace,
and every breath becomes a prayer
to never be sated again.
