Remember
One day,
You’ll remember the heat that bloomed in your chest when our hands met,
How every word I spoke rang true like a rising symphony—
A melody that refuses to quiet, even when the silence of absence wraps around you.
When storm-clouds gather and the winds of doubt rattle your world,
Our love will stand like a lighthouse on a distant cliff,
A warm and steady beacon cutting through the gray,
Guiding you back to the shoreline of our shared heartbeat.
One day,
You will remember the love we shaped with intention and tenderness—
Me holding you close as we reenacted the pottery scene from Ghost,
Softly,
Our fingers tracing memories, molding moments like clay
Into something that felt like forever.
You’ll recall the cadence of our laughter,
The secret language stitched between us,
The quiet sighs that said more than speech ever could,
And the music that wove itself through our souls,
A song that still plays faintly,
Even if the world chooses to forget.
One day,
You’ll feel the echo of my touch—
A warmth settling gently in your chest—
And you’ll understand that our love,
Like a timeless melody, never truly disappears.
It lingers,
Unseen yet undeniable,
Waiting for the moment
Your heart remembers again.
