The Price of the Garden

Dear Calista

Would I risk losing myself, to enter the garden of eden, to taste of the forbidden fruit, and to die in the process? To dive into your stream, to drift further down, with the risk of drowning, just to fall off the waterfall. Every rose has its thorns. To taste the sweetness of Honey, you must risk the sting of a bee. This is the dichotomy echoed by your beauty. I wish to taste the sweet nectar, held in the chalice formed by God, to sync our heartbeats and our breaths, to intertwine our fingers and our souls. In this world where the law of equivalent exchange holds true, death is the perfect wage to partake in a heavenly gift.
